6 Things That Change About 8pm When the Water Leaves the Wet Wrap
Same emollient, same bedtime, same idea of holding it on. One dry Night Sleeve instead of a bowl, two bandages and a timer.
If it does not suit you, reply inside fourteen nights and we refund you without asking for it back.
This is not a before and after of anyone's skin. It is a before and after of eight o'clock in the evening.
1. No bowl on the bathroom floor

Nothing to fill, nothing to carry, nothing to spill.
The bowl is the first of nine steps, and the one that sets the tone: bending over a bath at the end of a long day with warm water that will be cold by the time it is on.
2. No cold first layer

The sleeve goes on dry and warms against the skin in a few minutes.
Water on skin evaporates, and evaporation takes heat with it. That is why a wet wrap feels cold within a minute. A dry layer starts at room temperature and settles at body temperature.
3. Forty minutes becomes under one

Emollient on, sleeve on, done.
The part that mattered, emollient held against the skin, is still there. The steps that existed to make a wet layer work are not.

4. Pyjamas stay dry

No damp leg to change at midnight and no extra wash load in the morning.
5. Less reason to tear it off at midnight

Open at the toes on purpose, because heat is what makes it come off in the night.
The toes are where feet shed most heat. Closed, hot, damp socks are what people kick off at three in the morning. Leaving the toes out keeps the heel and midfoot covered while the foot stays comfortable, and keeps the spaces between the toes dry.
6. The mechanism did not change

The emollient is still held on the skin. The water left.
What the sleeve does not do is cool, and if a wet wrap has been advised for a flare, that advice stands. For the ordinary nights in between, which is most of them, this is the version that keeps the emollient where it was put.
How it works
- The emollient you already use.
- The Night Sleeve over it, dry, toes out.
- Off in the morning, into the mesh bag, wash at 40.
Proof we can show you
“I am able to sit for hours at a time in wet socks :(”
Public post about wet wrapping · not our customer
Before you buy
- Not over a prescription steroid unless your doctor has said so. Occlusion increases how much is absorbed.
- Not on broken, weeping or infected skin.
- Not between the toes. Those spaces stay dry.
